DNA/RNA Nutra-NEⓇ is a DNA and RNA transport and storage medium for various samples (swabs, tissue samples). Nutra-NEⓇ preserves the genetic integrity of both enveloped and non-enveloped viruses for at least 48 hours at ambient temperatures. Therefore, no refrigeration or freezing is needed. Due to its high pH and detergent content, it inactivates most viruses. Nucleic acid from samples collected/stored in this transport buffer is compatible with most DNA and RNA purification kits.
